Chamber music in the heart of the Pennines.

The Halifax Philharmonic Club promotes high-quality chamber music concerts every year in a season between October and April. Recitals by artists of national and international standing are presented in the Square Chapel Arts Centre, Halifax, a beautiful and unique concert hall with a particularly fine acoustic.

Most of our audience are subscribers who have bought tickets at a discount for the entire season. Tickets for a single concert can be purchased at the Square Chapel box office.

The AGM of the Halifax Philharmonic Club will take place in Square Chapel at 6.30pm on Friday 19th October 2018 immediately before the first concert of the 2018-19 season. The AGM is open to all members of the Club who have purchased a full season's ticket for the 2018-2019 season. An agenda and a call for nominations to the Committee will be sent to members with the brochure for the forthcoming season.
